Lee Stafford Hair Growth Treatment - First Impressions

If you read my September Haul (here), you will know that I took advantage of the 3 for 2 offer that Boots were holding and stocked up on some hair care goodies. Something I picked up but had never tried before was the Lee Stafford Hair Growth Treatment. If you're a avid reader on beauty blogs, then I'm pretty sure that you're aware of this product as it seems to be everywhere. It's one of those products that's impossible to avoid within the world of beauty - everyone seems to love it!

I have decided that I am simply just going to refer to this product as the Lee Stafford Hair Growth Treatment. If any of you use this product you will know that the name of it is ridiculous. It's full name is Lee Stafford Treatment for Hair That Never Grows Past A Certain Length (longest product name ever! Is there an award for that? This would definitely be a contender). Being the typical female that I am, I am never quite content with the length of my hair and I'm forever striving for it to be longer. Therefore, whenever I see something that contains the words 'hair' and 'growth' within it's name I'm all over it! I'm on it so fast, I'm all over it like a fly on poop!! I have layers in my hair and the shortest ones are below boob length with the rest of my hair resting at mid back length. Basically, my hair is at a pretty good length at the moment but I still would like it to be longer. I'm thinking either hip length or bottom of the spine/bum length would be amazing!?

Anyway, as anyone who is trying to grow their hair will know - keeping it in the best condition will help it to grow quickly. I have quite a strict hair care routine as I've become pretty anal with it and won't do certain things/use certain products on it and I'm pleased to say that's its working. It seems to be working really well and I've gained around 2/3 inches since June which I think it pretty good going!

Unfortunately, I haven't been using this product long enough to experience it as it's full potential but I have been using it long enough to be able to inform you all of my initials thoughts and feelings...

- Let's get things straight - you're not going to use this product, go to bed and then wake up the next morning looking like Rapunzel. It doesn't work like that. What this product is designed to do is to focus on the roots of the hair in a way that both strengthens and nourishes them. This treatment strengthens the roots so your hair won't drop as much and nourishes them so any new hair growth that happens will be healthy hair right away. Basically, this treatment stimulates the roots in a way that should promote healthier and stronger hair growth and when your hair is both strong and healthy it grows quicker. Does that make sense?

- This treatment can either be used as a quick treatment or can be left on longer to really get to work and nourish your hair.

- Leaves your hair feeling super silky soft and shiny.

- I agree that it helps the hair to anchor to the scalp. I have always been someone who has hair that tends to fall and after using this it doesn't fall at all/if any.

- Super easy to use and there are directions of how to use it printed on the side of the tub - scoop out an egg size amount. massage into the hair from roots to ends, then leave for 5 minutes, rinse out and then use your normal conditioner or the Lee Stafford hair growth one.

- Bright pink packaging which is super girly and perfect to be used in the shower because the product is contained within a plastic tub.

- The product smells really nice. If you use or have ever used the Argan Oil (reviewed here) this treatment smells more or less the same. It is quite a masculine scent but I really like it.

- The product is currently priced at £7.99 for a 200ml tub. Based on the fact that Lee Stafford advises you use an eff sized amount per application, this product can work out to be pretty expensive.

- One of the claims of this product is that is helps to improve the feel of the hair. I most definitely agree with this statement as after using this treatment my hair feels considerably smoother, nourished, stronger and it looks visibly more shiny/like it's in better condition.

- I prefer to use this treatment with a shower cap. I like to wash my hair, apply the product to my hair and pop on a shower cap to hold my hair in place whilst the treatment is getting to work on my hair whilst I'm doing what I need to do in the shower. I also like to use this treatment for around 30 minutes to an hour ocasionally and when I do this I simply wash my hair, apply the product, pop a shower cap on and let the treatment get to work whilst I'm watching tv or something.

- This product does not make your hair greasy at all! When I read that you apply the treatment, wash it out and then use conditioner I thought I would get 'chip pan hair' and it made me worry. I hate greasy hair, like most people. However, I was pleasantly surprised as using the conditioner only made my hair even softer. I have never tried the Lee Stafford Hair Growth conditioner that accompanies this product and it has always worked fine so don't worry if you don't own the whole collection you can use whatever conditioner you like!

- This 200ml tub lasts me around 4 uses. I could probably get 5 out of it but I like to apply a lot and give it a real good nourish; especially if I'm doing a good 30 minutes+ treatment.

- You can use this treatment whenever you want to. The directions on the tub say to use this treatment every wash until your hair improves and then after that you just use it once a week to keep your hair in great condition. I like to either use this treatment twice a week using 5 minute treatments or once a week for when I do a 30 minute+ treatment.

- The only slight problem I have encountered with this treatment is that the first time I ever used it, it irritated a patch of eczema that I have on the back of my head in my hair. However, this patch of eczema was going through a bad time and was spreading quite a lot so I don't think it was the hair treatment alone irritating it - I think it was a mixture of things. The product just made the patch itch a little bit (there was no burning or bleeding caused) and it wasn't bad enough for me to never use this treatment again so that wasn't an issue.

I love this treatment and I started using my 2nd tub the other day so this should last me another 3 weeks. I absolutely love hair treatments and deep conditioners so I shall be using this one for a fair amount of time to come. I know that I will definitely repurchase this Hair Growth Treatment but I am just waiting for when Boots have either have another 3 for 2 offer or their 3 for £12 deal which works out at even better value for money! I shall most definitely persist with the hair treatment and see whether or not it does help to promote better and quicker hair growth! I shall no doubt be back in the future with a Hair Growth Treatment update and full review!

Origins Super Spot Remover - First Impressions

A few weeks ago, I noticed on Twitter that Origins were offering some amazing bonus freebies, when you bought anything from their skincare offerings. I had never used Origins before but had always heard amazing things about the brand from other Bloggers and YouTube'rs.

I was going through a tricky time where I had a pesky breakout that wouldn't go. No matter what I did to it, it wouldn't budge. I think it was partly hormonal and partly stress related as I'm someone who never usually suffers from troublesome spots. I was getting really annoyed about the spots and they were making me feel really self conscious so I decided I would take advantage of Origins awesome freebies and place an order for their Super Spot Remover.

Usually before I buy a new product, I have a look a few reviews some other bloggers have written. However, this time I did things backwards and instead I looked at the reviews after placing my order. I had never used anything from Origins before and a lot of bloggers were saying that the product is absolutely tiny, some experienced a slight burning/stinging sensation when they applied and gel and some people claimed the product did nothing to help heal or reduce their blemishes. I have to admit, I wasn't looking forward to using the product based on the fact that people had reported it stung slightly but that's just because I'm a wimp!

When my Super Spot Remover arrived, I got to work photographing it and then it was straight on my face. I am so glad that I took the risk and just ordered this without knowing much about it because the gamble definitely paid off. Every time I notice something appearing, I pop a layer of this stuff on right away and it gets to work. I absolutely love it and I think this will be clear from my first impressions below...

Although I have only used this product a couple of times, I feel I am able to form some initial opinions upon it and so far so good ...

-Yes, the bottle is very small and you do only get 10ml of product. However, you only need a tiny amount on each individial blemish/problem area so this bottle will last you a while.

- The product has a strong smell of Witch-hazel. Personally, I don't find this a bad thing. I find it a reassuring smell and feel as though it's a spot treatment that it actually going to do something.

- The Super Spot Remover is currently priced at £14, here in the UK. Yes, that is considerably more expensive than something such as a spot stick you can pick up from your local Boots or Superdrug but due to this product being of a higher concentration you don't need to use as much; which means it will last longer.

- The bottle is tiny and the packaging is really cute. It doesn't scream SPOT TREATMENT quite as much as some other products do.

- The little bottle is squeezable. This means that you can squeeze a small amount of product out and there is no pouring required - meaning you don't get much product wastage.

- The treatment is designed to reduce the redness and swelling that spots cause as well as aiming to help them heal quicker and more effectively than if you just left them to do so naturally. I have to admit that I do think this product works and definitely stops pesky stops becoming really nasty and unsightly if you apply the treatment straight away.

- The bottle containing the product is plastic which means that it can be taken any where with you and you won't have to worry about it smashing!

- When first applied, the product is of a gel consistency and is very easy to spread around infected areas. However, when the product starts to dry it gives the feeling of tightening the skin and I have to admit I feel as though I've had Botox or something. I have never had Botox, but if I did, I imagine it would feel like the Super Spot Remover does once dry. Although I have to point out that I don't find this sensation to be awful in anyway and it doesn't put me off using the product.

- You do experience a slight sensation when this product is applied. I wouldn't go as far as saying that it was a stinging/burning feeling (unless your spot is open/bleeding - then this would sting!) but it definitely tingles. Again, I don't find this to be a bad thing as I like this feeling. It feels as though it is getting to work fighting the spot and reducing the discomfort pesky spots can cause.

- I don't think this product would be an ideal spot treatment to use before applying your makeup. When the product dries, it can be a little flaky.Although this isn't a big issue when you're bare faced, if you were to apply makeup on top it might look a bit bizarre. If I'm staying home all day I like to pop on a good layer when I wake up and then again in the evening. However, if I have been out I just put a good layer on before bed and let it get to work over night.

As well as it's wonderful spot reducing and fighting power, this product is also formulated without Parabens, Phthalates, Propylene Glycol, Mineral Oil, PABA, Petrolatum, Paraffin, DEA, Synthetic Colour, Synthetic Fragrance and Animal Ingredients. As well as being free from all of these chemical nasties, this product is also not tested on animals, Rather than test on some poor unsuspecting animal, Origins have tested this product on a panel of willing volunteers - people!

I absolutely love this product and I shall definitely be purchasing another bottle
when I need to! Have you ever tried the Origins Super Spot Remover?

A very special gift...

If you follow me on Instagram then you will know that a few months ago (back in June I think) I was cleaning some unused and unworn jewellery that my nanna has had stashed away in boxes for years and years. I was fortunate enough to be given lots of stunning pieces and I absolutely love them all. It's a well known thing within my family that I love jewellery and that diamonds are my absolute favourite thing. The more they sparkle, the better, I'm a bit of a magpie. You can see what I was originally given here.

Whilst looking through her collection, I was told that I could have whatever ring I wanted. I picked out a stunning ring that had a large black Sapphire in the centre and Diamonds around the outside. It looked like a flower and was such a beautiful design. It had such a wonderful shine; I loved it. Unfortunately, my nanna has fingers that are considerably smaller than mine and when I took the ring to my local jewellers they said re sizing it would be a bit of an issue. Due to having to go up a fair few sizes, the jeweller was not confident that he could resize the ring without disrupting the stones or causing damage to them. He said that if I wanted to take the risk he would do the resizing - but he wasn't confident. I knew that my nanna would be devastated if we got the ring resiszed and then all of the Diamonds fell out. When we arrived home, she asked me if she could have the ring back and I thought nothing of it. If it didn't fit me, she may as well have it back. She may want to wear it at some point.

I was absolutely gobsmacked when she walked into the room with the diamond heart that I have been in love with ever since she got it. I knew how much she loved it and I really wouldn't accept it from her. It took me absolutely ages to accept the pendant and it really did make me cry. She is so exceptionally sweet to me and is such a cool nanna! I love the fact that my family aren't old because it means we're all super duper close and lots of people can't believe the bond that we have. It really is unique!

I absolutely love this pendant. The front and the side of the heart is made up of larger and smaller Diamonds. The shine that it gives off is wonderful and twinkles perfectly. The chain that is shown in the picture above is actually a chain that my nanna gave me many years ago and I have treasured it ever since I received it because it was her mums. This necklace and heart it exceptionally special to me because I have my great nannas chain and my nannas heart all in the same piece of jewellery. Can you get anymore sentimental!?

Do you have a favourite piece of sentimental jewellery that has been given to you?

Maybelline 'Mega Plush' Mascara - Review

If there is one brand that seems to be excelling at mascaras at the moment, it's Maybelline. It seems that everytime I walk into Boots or Superdrug they have brought out a new mascara claiming to do something their last one didn't. I have been pretty clear with what I thought about 'The Rocket' and to be brutally honest I think it was absolutely appalling. You can read my full review hereI soon forgot about the tragedy that is the Rocket, when I walked into Boots and noticed that they had just that day released 'Mega Plush'. I picked this up a few months ago when it was on offer for £5.99 instead of its usual retail price of £7.99.

The packaging of this mascara really appeals to me. I love the contrast of the turquoise against the fuchsia. The colours really pop and catch your eye amongst all of the other drug store mascara offerings and the bright packaging makes this super easy to find when it's lying at the bottom of your makeup bag.

One of the main requirements when it comes to a mascara is that the wand is not plastic. I have a made an exception when it comes to Benefits 'They're Real' here but that's it. The brush on this mascara is really fat and the bristles are evenly spaced which gives a wonderful fanned out effect to the eyelashes. As you all know, I hate spider eyelashes and won't use any mascara that I feels gives me them. With this being said, I am pleased to report that this mascara doesn't make your lashes clump together and really does make them look 'mega plush'.

'Mega Plush' claims to instantly give your lashes full volume without making them feel brittle or flaky and I can definitely agree. I have rather long lashes naturally and I like to take advantage of them. My lashes have quite a lot of volume and naturally hold their curl really well; this mascara works really well with them. However, this mascara also works great with my eyelashes when I have curled them and I most definitely feel as though it gives me an amazing false lash effect. I have had a few compliments, when wearing this mascara.

Excuse the eyebrows, I need to do them!

When I seen this mascara was created with a gel mousse formula, I expected that it would be really hard to take off but it isn't. This mascara comes off super easily with either my Simple eye makeup remover, a normal makeup wipe or my Liz Earle 'Cleanse & Polish'. Although this mascara isn't difficult to remove, it lasts on the lashes extremely well and doesn't smudge all over to give you panda eyes. I was actually wearing this mascara when my family brought me back down to London and I can most definitely confirm that it passes the 'tear test' with flying colours. It didn't move an inch!

I absolutely love this mascara and I would definitely recommend it to anyone that is looking for a volumising mascara that bulks your lashes out, lasts all day, is a true black in colour and gives you a perfectly fanned out false lash effect.

If you're a beauty fanatic or blogger then I am almost certain that you will have heard about the skincare brand REN. Many bloggers and YouTube'rs swear by the brand and it's well loved within the community.

I have never tried anything from REN before so when I was reading last months InStyle and I noticed the page advertising this months awesome freebie, I ripped it out straight away and pinned it to my notice board to make sure I didn't forget to pick it up when it was released! Marie Claire Magazine - November 2013

I'm going to be perfectly honest with you all and say that Marie Claire isn't usually the kind of magazine that I go for. I've said it once and I will say it again - trashy celebrity magazines appeal to me A LOT. They're just so easy to read and lets face it who doesn't like to know what's happening in the world of the A List!?

When a magazine has an awesome freebie, I cannot refuse it and the arrival of Marie Claire to my bedside definitely cheered me up! I know that a lot of bloggers love L'Occitane and their hand cream is raved about by virtually everyone but when I tried it in store I just wasn't as impressed as I thought I was going to be. However, when Marie Claire were offering it as a freebie with their magazine I think it's safe to say that I had to get my hands on it somehow!

With the November issue of Marie Claire, you get one of four L'Occitane hand creams. The creams that you can pick from are the Original, Passionate Jasmine, Rose Tenderness and Subtle Violet. The tubes are all generous 30ml sizes and considering the magazine costs only £3.90 and the hand cream itself retails for around £8; I think this freebie is an absolute bargain. This deal definitely isn't to be missed by beauty fanatics and those who are wanting to try the hand cream out for the first time. Even if you're already a fan of the cream, this freebie is the perfect size to carry around with you in your handbag!

As you can see, I have the Original and the Rose Tenderness creams. I wanted to try the Original because it is coveted by so many people within the beauty community and the Rose one just looked to cute to resist. It's pink and the lid is even shaped into a little flower! I shall definitely be reviewing both of these items in the future.
Will you be picking up the November issue of Marie Claire or have you
already been and bought it?

RiRi Hearts MAC - My top picks & swatches!

I have been desperate to get this post up for you all because I have had a few people on Twitter and Instagram asking me what I got. Unless you have been living under a rock for the past couple of months, I'm pretty sure you are aware of the hype that has been surrounding the MAC/Rihanna collaboration. First we had the hype surrounding her sell out Riri Woo lipstick and now over the past few weeks every beauty fanatic has become obsessed with what has become known as the 'RiRi Hearts MAC Fall Collection'.

As you all probably know, the latest RiRi MAC offerings were available to buy in the UK on Thursday 3rd of October at 11am. Although I have been struck down by a killer throat infection and awful virus, I was thankfully well enough to meet up with a friend on Thursday to drag myself to Selfridges and have a look at the collection in the flesh. Although I have been eyeing this collection up online for the past couple of months, I wanted to see it in person before I bought anything.

Sorry about the iPhone reflection!

The first thing that caught my eye with the collection was the packaging, Look at that packaging, look at it! The rose gold, the R and the RiRi <3 MAC handwriting is just perfection. I know that some people dislike this packaging but I really like it. I'm a total sucker when it comes to beauty products having nice packaging so this definitely satisfies my love of perfect packaging. I always keep the boxes that my high end makeup comes in so I will definitely be storing this away somewhere. I know that sounds exceptionally sad but it really is far too pretty to throw away!

As soon as I seen previews of the collection I knew I wanted the two brushes and the two eye shadow quads. I even set aside money for when the collection was released so I could buy it asap. I knew that it would sell out quickly but I didn't think it would sell out quite as quickly as it did! I have heard reports that the collection sold out within minutes which is absolutely crazy!

In Selfridges I decided that I would choose only one palette and brush. I decided to go for 'Her Cocoa' because I thought it looked more wearable and would look lovely with my blue eyes. I also decided that I would go for the duo fiber 282SE eye shadow brush because again I would get more use out it. In the back of my mind, I kept thinking that I should have got the other quad and brush so when I looked on the MAC website and noticed that the things I wanted were sold out I knew I had to go back to the beauty hall and snap them up. I honestly couldn't believe how quickly everything sold out!

I believe that the first things to sell out were the two eye shadow quads, the two SE brushes and the two false eyelashes so I am glad that I was able to get to Selfridges and get the bits that I wanted! I absolutely love the eye shadows and the SE brushes are to die for. The eye shadows are super wearable and the brushes are super soft. I love how the tip of them is pink. Despite looking really girly, I think the packaging is also quite rocky. The was the R is placed in the middle and it's font just gives everything an edgy vibe - I love it!
Left: Her Cocoa.
Right: Smoked Cocoa.

Now for the most important part of this post ... the swatches!!

Her Cocoa

Smoked Cocoa
If you would like to see some more swatches from the collection, the lovely Laura from TeaseFlutterPout has some amazing swatches of the RiRi lipsticks HERE. .

I absolutely love this collection and I am so glad that I was able to get hold of it! Did you pick
anything up or did it sell out before you were able to buy?

September Haul!

Before I get into this haul post, I'm going to warn you all that it might be a little bit photo heavy and that it is most probably going to be pretty long. Sorry! As you all know, I have been in London for quite a while now and to be honest I have taken full advantage of the shops they have to offer down here. When you're a shopaholic living in London, you're happier than a pig in mud. However, when you move back to a small town where there aren't any amazing shops and everyone shops in the same place and therefore looks and dresses the same; you're deprived, seriously deprived.

I know that we are a few days into October and usually I try and get my haul posts up at the beginning of each new month but this this month it just hasn't been possible. I have been really busy with uni work and the main issue I had was that I was having issues with my iPhone cable. Unfortunately, this is where I take all of my on the go pictures and I needed some that were stored on there for this post. A few days ago I did go to Apple and get a new charging cable so everything is fine and dandy but now I have come down with an awful infection that's affecting everywhere on my head (sinus's, nose, head, ears) but is mainly attacking my throat. I don't really feel up to doing much because I feel awful and I have been told by the doctor (I had to have an emergency appointment on Friday) to rest but to be honest I'm going out of my mind laying in bed doing nothing so I thought I'd blog for a little while.

Chanel.

My family came down for a few days at the end of August/beginning of September and we spent a day shopping in Covent Garden. I have never owned a Chanel perfume before (which I find hard to believe because I have a huge perfume collection) but when I was back home I couldn't walk past Debenhams without popping in and smelling Chance Eau Tendre. It's such a fresh modern scent and I would describe it as being Chanel perfume for the younger generation - sophisticated enough so that you don't smell like a mini tart but young enough so that you don't smell too mature. Does that make sense? Anyway, take my word for it, this smells gorgeous! I was lucky enough to be bought the limited edition 150ml bottle and I'm in love! This has already been added to my christmas list!

MAC.

Whilst in Covent Garden, I couldn't not go into the MAC store, I have been thinking about making a custom 15 pan eye shadow palette for a while now and finally decided that I would buy myself some colours to kick start my collection whilst I had the money. I think I chose some of the really popular colours but that doesn't bother me; they're obviously well known for a reason? The only thing that I didn't agree with (and the reason why I haven't bought one of these palettes sooner) is that fact that you have to buy the palette and the insert separately. This means that before you have even bought any eye shaodws (which cost £10 in pan format) you have already spent £20 something...

Top L-R: Naked Lunch, All That Glitters
Middle L-R: Charcoal Brown, Woodwinked
Bottom L-R: Satin Taupe, Club

NUXE/Marks & Spencers.

You may be wondering why I have put that I got this product from NUXE/Marks & Spencers? For those of you who didn't know, Marks & Spencers now have their own mini beauty hall and whilst shopping with family I found myself having a little look through it. It isn't as big as somewhere such as Selfridges or John Lewis and it doesn't sell as much makeup but it's still a nice place to look around. It was in a really well lit area of the store and the whole layout looked very clean and inviting - it really appealed to me. Whilst mooching around, I noticed the NUXE section and they had a tester out for every single product. I wasn't intending to buy anything but then I noticed the super hyped Reve de Miel lip balm and couldn't resist trying it out on my hand. I have said it a few times on here but I suffer from eczema on my lips and they were super sore. This balm was more like a cream: super mositurising and made my hand feel amazing. It also smells like Terry's Chocolate Orange - how could I resist!?

Feel Unique.

I finally ordered two things that I have been wanting to try for a long time! Lately I have been loving red tinted lip balms as I just find they suit me and really wake up my complexion. They're also super moisturising and don't cling to my lips in the way that lipstick would. I hate wearing lipstick, I just don't like myself wearing it one little bit. Korres balms are loved by many beauty bloggers and I thought I would finally pick on up and give it a try.
I also finally decided that I was going to be brave and order the Moroccan Oil. I have heard so much about this oil and I am a big fan of hair oils in general! I think that when you're in the beauty community/industry you hear so many positive things about a certain product that you think it's going to be absolutely amazing and you have such high hopes for it that when you finally get your hands on it you feel let down. I didn't want this to be the case with the Moroccan Oil as it is pretty expensive. This tiny bottle cost me £13 something. I am so pleased that I finally made the plunge into the world of Moroccan Oil because I can definitely see why it is raved about and loved by so many. Yes, this product is expensive for what it is and it does smell a bit weird (no matter how much I love this oil, I will never grow to love the smell of it!) but it really is wonderful. I have used a fair few hair oils in the past ranging from the expensive to the inexpensive and I have to say that so far this one along side my Lee Stafford Argan Oil (review here) is my favourite!

Boots.

No beauty bloggers monthly haul is worthwhile without a mention to the beauty heaven that is Boots. Recently they have had their 3 for 2 hair care offer on and I most definitely took full advantage of it. I needed to stock up on my Toni&Guy shampoo, conditioner and deep conditioner as I had ran out of all three and I wanted to try something new as well. During my time as a blogger, I have come across many hair mask/deep conditioner reviews but one that constantly pops up in the beauty world is the Lee Stafford 'for hair that never grows past a certain length' Treatment. I have been on a big hair growth mission lately and what I am doing is most definitely paying off but I liked the fact that this product does claim to focus mainly on making the root of the hair more healthy and stronger making it less likely to drop and which in turn should promote quicker and more healthy hair growth! Regardless of whether or not this product works, if it the packaging mentions anything about 'hair growth' I'm all over it and willing to give it a try!

Finally, I couldn't leave Boots without picking up one of Rimmel's new Scandaleyes eye shadow paints in 'Rich Russet'. This product has been all over beauty blogs and in YouTube videos at the moment so I couldn't help but pick it up! This colour is perfect for those who have blue eyes, like a simple fuss free eye shadow look and want everything to stay in place all day (and night). This product just does not move or crease - perfect!!

Origins.

Until last month, I had never tried anything from Origins. I follow the brand on Twitter and noticed that they were having an amazing freebie offer. Whenever you bought a skincare item, you got to choose from one of four mini boxes with certain samples in. I have been suffering from a few spots this month (which have mainly been hormonal breakouts) and it was getting me down. I'm a person who doesn't usually get spots and bad break outs so when I do I don't like it and I certainly don't know how to deal with them. I decided that I needed something that could pack a punch and shift these spots once and for all so I decided that I would order Origins Super Spot Remover. I have to admit, the awesome freebies convinced me to make the order and considering how awesome they were I think paying £14 for the spot treatment was an amazing deal! I love a good old beauty bargain and an awesome freebie!

Nike/Schuh

Finally, after months and months of wanting a pair, I bought some Nike Blazers! Prior to buying these, I had tried on exactly the same pair in Selfridges but because of the pressure I felt I was under in the shop to try them on and make a decision, I couldn't get my foot into them. For those of you who don't know, a few weeks ago, I damaged 4 of my toes and have been plastered and strapped up ever since. I decided I would treat myself after uni one day and bring the shoes home to try. For those of you who don't know, Schuh has an AMAZING returns policy - you have 363 days!! In my own time, I was able to get my poorly foot into them pain free and I'm happy I made the purchase. They're beautiful!

Liz Earle

If you follow me on Instagram (if you don't, my username is linked at the bottom of this post) then you will most probably be aware of how much I was loving Liz Earle skincare last month. From the first time I used Cleanse and Polish (first impressions post here), I have been hooked on the brand. Their skincare is really nice and gentle which means its perfect to use on my sensitive eczema prone skin. I would say that the brand is priced mid range so is affordable but not as readily available or as cheap as the average face wash that can just be picked up from Boots. I love the fact that every time you order from Liz Earle online you receive a free complimentary 30ml Cleanse and Polish and a mini pure muslin cloth that are both perfect for travel or using up before you start on your big pump bottle! Top marks for customer service there!
Last month the brand released their Limited Edition Cleanse and Polish which I couldn't resist after loving the original and reading about the hype that surrounded last years limited edition offering. I also picked up one of the brands skincare Try Me kits which comes in a mini toiletry bag with a pure muslin cloth. Try Me kits are the perfect way to try new skincare items and this one worked out as being considerably cheaper than if I bought all of the items contained within it individually! Finally of course, I had to take advantage of the amazing 24hour offer Liz Earle held at the end of last month. For £9.50 you could get a 100ml bottle of Cleanse and Polish and two pure muslin cloths! I absolutely LOVE the pure muslin cloths the brand have created and last month I think I ordered around 10 new ones! Every time I made an order, I ordered some cloths. I like to be able to have a new one every day and they're really reasonably priced. I think I picked up a pack of 6 for £10 something with was a bargain!

The White Company.

I love this brand and the way they wrap up your purchases is so nice. I have always had such lovely customer service in store and the baby stuff never fails to make me broody! It's always so cute!
My nanna bought me some really thick muslin cloths which are amazing quality and I bought myself a pink blanket. Both items are super soft because they're from the baby section (the Little White Company) and are a nice luxurious staple to have. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of them because I was a bad blogger and forgot to take them before writing this post! Never mind...

Selfridges.

Finally, when is a huge haul complete without a trip to Selfridges!? I absolutely love Selfridges and I would definitely go as far as saying that it's my favourite shop in London. Yes, I prefer Selfridges waaaay more than Harrods! I may have gone a little over board in there but hey you only live once and I needed a few of the things I got!

If you read my post (here) all about Charlotte Tilbury and the launch of her new brand then you will know that I picked up this makeup bag. I don't need to say much about it as it is just a makeup bag but I love it and the design is super cute!

I have heard so much about the Giorgio Armani Lumionous silk foundation and lately I have found myself wanting something that doesn't provide as much coverage. I have been loving my Body Shop 'All In One Face Base' but wanted something that wouldn't cling to the eczema I have around my nose at the moment. I was also wanting something that wasn't as full coverage because I was sick of having a heavy foundation that wasn't the perfect match to my skin colour. This foundation is super light and looks really nice on. Although this can be built up coverage wise, it still doesn't offer a lot so if you're not prepared to look virtually bare faced ... this one probably isn't for you! The guy who colour matched me was also super lovely and squirted my bag with Giorgo Armani's new fragrance 'Si' - it smells lush!

I have had my eye on a Marc Jacobs phone case for a while and when my friend showed me where they were I couldn't refuse! Okay, so this phone case is the most expensive one that I have ever bought (apart from my Mulberry pouch but that doesn't count because it's a pouch and it was a present?) as I usually go a little crazy on eBay and buy cases. I wanted something a little different and of course being the lover of labels that I am I couldn't resist tarting up my iPhone too. This case stood out at me right away because I love pink and purple and it was holographic. A holographic phone case, how cool!!

If you have been following my blog for a while, you will know how much I love Alexander McQueen and his scarves! Winter is soon to be upon us and I thought that my trip to Selfridges was the perfect time for me to add to my ever expanding collection. I found myself in the MCQ section which is right by Marc Jacobs and I was drawn to this scarf straight away. I have been looking at it online but whenever I have been scarf shopping I have always gone to Alexander McQueen. There isn't much difference between Alexander McQueen and MCQ. Basically, Alexander McQueen is the more expensive collection and MCQ has been marketed as being slightly more affordable. McQueen could be seen as being more couture whereas MCQ is more edgy and trendy - street style. I love this pashmina and it's going to be perfect for winter. I can't wait to wear it with an outfit that is totally monochrome!

I hope you managed to make it to the end of this super long haul!
