Escentual.com - French Pharmacy Savings!

It feels like I haven't blogged in a really long time (and that's probably because I haven't) but don't worry I plan to resume my normal blogging schedule as soon as possible. It's around this time of year where blogging kind of takes a back seat. Not because I want it to but because it has to. University deadlines are due and the exam season is fast approaching (my main exam season is in May, for those of you who are wondering but I do have two in mid April!!) so blogging has to take place when I have a spare moment; something I tried to do the other day but Blogger wouldn't work so that failed.

Plus this weekend I am having a girls weekend in London with two of my childhood friends; one of which I haven't seen for a while. I know it shouldn't and a friendship should never have to require effort (they should be effortless) but when you have friends all over the country studying all different subjects and you're all working on different timetables and term dates - it's hard! I'm really looking forward to it and just hanging out with them again so apologies if this post is seeming to be a little rushed - it kind of is! I have to re straighten my hair, do my makeup, take a #nomakeupselfie for Cancer Research as I have been nominated (thanks girls!!) and then get to the station! This is one major case of #girlproblems! Oh and for those thinking 'but I thought she lived in London?', you're correct - I do. I'm just having fun playing tourist for the weekend because there's so much to see and do down here you can never get bored; even if you have lived here for 3 years!

So anyway as a little, 'I'm sorry' for not being around much lately, I'm going to let you all know about an amazing beauty offer that is currently taking place over on Escentual.com. I believe that this offer has been on for a little while now so I am somewhat late to the party (but even if you do show up late, you still actually showed up - right!?) but I still thought I would let you all know because there might be someone out there who like me didn't know this was taking place.

Basically, Escentual.com are holding a 1/3 off of French Pharmacy skin care brands offer. La Roche-Posay? Yes. Caudalie? Yes. Avene? Yes. Nuxe? Yes. Vichy? Yes.... You catch my drift, the awesome brands are included! I was over the moon when I noticed this offer was on because I have wanted to try everything that I bought for a long time now. I mean Effaclar Duo+ for just over £10 instead of being £15 something - hell yes!

If you haven't had a look on Escentual.com, I recommend you do because the French Pharmacy offer is really good and you do make a saving. Plus, if you're a fan of Bioderma (although it doesn't have 1/3 off), if you buy 1 250ml bottle for £9.99 you get another one free. That's 500ml of Bioderma for £9.99!! A pretty good deal right? You can all thank me later!!

I look forward to reading all your blog posts about the French skincare goodies you picked up from

My New Venture - 'The No-Bump Bobble'

Those of you who follow me on Twitter and Instagram have probably seen myself and some other beauty bloggers talking about my new little online creative venture . I haven't really had the opportunity to explain everything this new venture entails so I thought that I would write this quick blog post to bring you all up to speed; let you know what's happening, provide you with some social media links and let you ask any questions you may have! If there are a lot of questions and people would like a little bit more of an explanation, I will quite happily provide a FAQ post.

To explain my new venture in a nut shell, I am going to be offering Pick 'n' Mix hair bobbles that I have called 'The No-Bump Bobble'. Basically, for £3* (plus postage) you can get 5 kind to hair bobbles. That works out at just 60p per standard bobble! The best part is that you choose the colours YOU want; hence the Pick 'n' Mix element. These bobbles come in a vast variety of different colours, textures, patterns and designs so they are perfect for everyone. They look super cute in children's hair and the best thing is because they are snag free they will not pull at fine delicate hair!

Whether you use 'The No-Bump Bobble' for working out in the gym, for popping your long locks up into a sleek pony tail to get your hair out of your face or just to add a fun pop of colour to your hairstyle; you're going to love them. 'The No-Bump Bobble' uses no metal and is made of a fabric that holds the hair tight enough to maintain the style but in a way that does not suffocate or hold the hair too tight.

Every one of the bobbles is handmade by myself out of a stretchy good quality material that leaves virtually no bump in the hair and each order comes packaged in its own little organza pouch. It's all about attention to detail and packaging is no exception! We have tonnes of different fabric options available. For children we have; Minnie Mouse, One Direction, Princess, Stars and many other cute and colourful options. Then for adults and older teenagers we have; Neon fabrics, Summer Pastels, Glitter fabrics, Animal Prints and many other colour combinations!

If you're wondering where you can view what bobbles we have to offer, you can find them all on our website which is directly liked below. We have new stock arriving all of the time so don't worry if you're looking for a colour or pattern that isn't yet listed; I'm sure it will be available soon! The website is easy to use, calculates the cost of shipping (we can ship to anywhere within the EU, although the cost of postage is considerably more than it would be for UK shipping), enables you to buy as many bobbles as you want and has PayPal integration - supposedly one of the safest ways to shop on the internet!

* Please note, glitter bobbles incur an additional charge and are therefore not a part of the 5 for £3.

21st Birthday Round Up

I recently celebrated my 21st birthday at home with friends and family and I had an amazing time. It was nice to just escape London and be able to properly chill out; something which I always appreciate. If you follow me on social media and especially Instagram then I am sure you will have seen all of the birthday related pictures I posted and noticed how much fun I was having. I do apologise for going a little birthday crazy haha! I was asked by a few people on Twitter whether or not I would be blogging about my birthday and I have to say that I deliberated over the issue for quite some time. Hence why this birthday post is going live exactly 2 weeks after the actual event itself took place. Here in the England, there are quite a few birthdays that are considered to be 'big' and therefore the celebrations and presents are usually considerably more extravagant than the rest of the years. For this reason, I didn't want to do a haul as such because I didn't think it would be entirely appropriate.

So after some consideration I decided instead of doing a haul post and running the risk of looking like I am some form of bragging extraordinaire or a spoilt brat (unfortunately, there are some people in this world who cannot be happy for others) I thought that I would do what I am calling my birthday round up - sharing a few pictures with you and a little bit of information about what I got up to with friends and family to celebrate. This is something that I have never done before on my blog so I hope you all enjoy having a nose into my 21st birthday celebrations ...

Celebrating in a very wet Covent Garden...
The temptation of seeing my presets displayed was too temping -
(day before birthday)
3:30 wake up call - Happy Birthday meeee!...
Birthday Girl!!...
Someone enjoyed the house being filled with balloons...
A cake lovingly decorated with everything I like - Purple, bling and Colin the Caterpillar...
My aunties idea of teasing me making me think I'd got a ring...
I got the ring!!!
A toast to health, happiness and many more happy years to come...
I love Bucks Fizz...
Sitting back enjoying some Champagne...
Pink Champagne! It was beautiful, can we have this more often?...
Chanel, you melt my heart and make me smell amazing...
Chanel, Lancome and Burberry - a beauty bloggers dream...
What I can only describe as being the must have palette for blue eyes...

I had an absolutely amazing birthday and those who provided me with gifts (which was extremely thoughtful and completely unexpected) know how thankful I am and my family know that I couldn't have been happier on the day. They planned everything perfectly and not only did I have a wonderful birthday I also had an amazing birthday week. Turning 21 truly was special! It was absolutely perfect. I know I have already said this online but just in case anyone missed that Tweet or doesn't follow me on Twitter I would just like to thank everyone again who took the time and effort to wish me a happy birthday on both Twitter and Instagram; it was extremely kind.

To celebrate and to give something back to you guys who read my blog, when I reach my next follower/page view milestones
I shall be holding a giveaway so keep your eyes peeled for that!
